Kapitalbank Digital Branch
A new-format Kapitalbank branch in Tashkent: digital self-service zones, a coffee point and meeting rooms instead of teller windows. Concept and interiors by SAD.
About the project
A branch arranged as an open room rather than a row of windows with a queue. There are fewer service desks than in an ordinary branch, and in their place are zones a bank did not have before: a coworking area, demonstration points and meeting tables. People come for more than paying a bill, and the plan allows for it.

Self-service
The ATMs are placed in separate cabins with a door rather than lined up along a wall. The cabin closes, so nobody stands behind you and the screen is not visible from the side — the thing that makes people uneasy at an open machine. Alongside runs a separate line of terminals for quick operations without a queue.

Materials
Brass, pale timber and the brand yellow — the palette is reduced to three, and there is just enough yellow for it to work as a pointer: it marks the places where the customer does something themselves. Everything else stays neutral and does not argue with the wayfinding.
